Diving: From pristine reefs to underwater caves, north-west Puerto Rico has great diving all year round right from the beach! Sites are filled with aquatic life and it’s common to see sergeant majors, angelfishes, damselfishes, flounders, moray eels, porcupine fish and lion fish. If you’re a little lucky you might even see a sea turtle, spotted eagle ray, dolphin, or seahorse! The water is always warm and comfortable. You won’t even need a wet suit.
Surfing: Waves here are almost daily from beginner-friendly all the way through to pro level. The island is home to many professional surf contests as well! The water is always in the 80s, and the weather is perfect for lessons. What are you waiting for?
SUPing: Stand up paddle boarding (SUP) is one of the fasting growing outdoor and water sport activities today. Part of the lure is the exhilaration of standing up high above the water which you don’t get from laying on a surf or body board. SUPing is a very versatile and inclusive sport because the sturdy boards allow just about anyone to get up and paddling their first time out. If you’re new to surfing and SUPing, it’s easy, fun, and picturesque to glide on top of the calm flat water in a Eco-Tour. If you’re a seasoned surfer, SUP surfing adds a new level, challenge, and perspective to catching waves. Either way, you don’t want to miss out on experiencing stand up paddle boarding.
