Entering this museum is like reliving a whole era, revealing the history of how tobacco arrived at Puerto Rico. Visitors learn how the tobacco plant was cultivated and processed while acquiring knowledge of how this workplace initiated important labor rights movement in our society.
The museum shows visitors the graphic and singular history of tobacco in Caguas, as well as the development of the tobacco industry during 19th and 20th Centuries. Today, master artisans craft the cigars for sale.
