José Celso Barbosa House Museum
The José Celso Barbosa House Museum (Casa Museo José Celso Barbosa) is a historic house museum in Bayamón’s urban center. The house was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1984, under the name Casa Natal Dr. José Celso Barbosa (Dr. José Celso Barbosa Birth House).
Barbosa was a Puerto Rican physician, sociologist and political leader. Known as the father of the Statehood for Puerto Rico movement, Barbosa was the first Puerto Rican, and one of the first persons of African descent to earn a medical degree in the United States.

Bayamón Art Museum
The Bayamón Art Museum has been created with the mission that the people of Puerto Rico can know, appreciate and enjoy art. The museum has made an enormous effort to preserve, document and disseminate part of the artistic work of Puerto Rican art. Public of all ages have access to the knowledge of the main Puerto Rican artists from the1950s to the present day, and the institution wants to promote activities that allow children and young people to know and practice fine arts.

Museo de Arte Francisco Oller
The permanent collection includes the Oller, Santos and Tomas Batista Rooms in which works of great masters of art have been exhibited. The museum is also home and custodian of original works of the great Puerto Rican painter Francisco Oller.
In the Museum, education plays a major role. That is why they have a series of projects aimed at complementing the teaching curriculum in schools in Puerto Rico. With initiatives like this the Museum intend to promote education through arts.

Espacio Emergente (Emerging Space) is where visitors can enjoy exhibitions of different media and styles, such as painting, ceramics, installations, sculptures, prints and chalk on pastel, among others. This space becomes an alternative for the professional growth of plastic artists and a place for the enjoyment of the public that visits the city of Bayamón.
