Icacos is a small, uninhabited cay off the coast off Fajardo. Fajardo, located on the east coast, is the boating capital of Puerto Rico.

It is deserted island full of pristine beaches, white sand and clear blue waters and a great place to swim, snorkel and relax.

There are many options to get there and enjoy your day under the sun, such as the sailing and motorboats trips, catamaran tours, and the 13’ mini boats.  Some of the tours offer food, drinks, snorkeling equipment and music. All vessels depart from the different marinas in Fajardo and it takes about 15 minutes to get there.

This is very popular tour so most of the tour operators offer round trip land transportation from the hotels in San Juan to Fajardo.

Since there are no facilities at all, do not forget to take with you towels, suntan lotion, bug repellent, sun hat, sunglasses, water shoes, sturdy sole shoes for hiking, beach umbrella, beach chairs, waterproof phone case, plastic bags, underwater camara, change of clothes, first aid kit, motion sickness medication, life jackets, children beach toys, floating water mat, snorkeling gear, food and lots of water!
