Cayo Luis Peña is a nature reserve which forms part of the Culebra National Wildlife Refuge. It is located on the west side of Culebra Island. Most of the time it is extremely quiet because very few people visit it. Few people visit it because the whole Culebra Archipelago is full of beach options. It is a perfect place to relax, disconnect from the rest of the world and escaped from the tourist crowds. The possibility to enjoy your own private beach is very high!

This beautiful and untouched cay is accessible by kayak, boat or water taxi ,and it is great for snorkeling, scuba, swimming, and hiking.

Since there are no facilities at all, do not forget to take with you towels, suntan lotion, bug repellent, sun hat, sunglasses, water shoes, sturdy sole shoes for hiking, beach umbrella, beach chairs, waterproof phone case, plastic bags, underwater camara, change of clothes, first aid kit, motion sickness medication, life jackets, children beach toys, floating water mat, snorkeling gear, food and lots of water!
