Located in Jayuya, Hacienda Gripiñas was built around 1858 and was originally the mansion of Eusebio Pérez, one of the wealthiest people of the time. 160 years of history later, it is now owned by the Municipality of Jayuya and still retains the essence of its 19th century mystique. Its wooden floors and windows, the balcony with hammocks looking towards the mountains and it is surrounded by nature.
The Mansion also includes facilities of the 21st century with all the commodities like hot water, WiFi, air conditioning (even though you might not need it) and 2 swimming pools in which one of them has river water. The rooms are suitable for all types of families as well as accessible rooms for persons with disabilities. It also has a restaurant, which is usually open for breakfast and dinner.
