It is with deep gratitude and enthusiasm that on Monday, November 20th, 2017 the San Juan National Historic Site reopens the doors of Castillo San Cristóbal to the public.
Castillo San Felipe del Morro will remain closed until power can be restored to the site. Entrance to San Cristóbal will be free of charge during the limited access to the park’s facilities, so we encourage all to come enjoy, explore, unwind and reconnect with our cultural heritage and world patrimony.
Strength, magnificence, resiliency. These values and characteristics well describe what the historical fortifications represent, and it is also what we hope to inspire and provoke in all who visit, as we move forward altogether in the path of recovery.
Stay tuned to our social media outlets as we will be posting soon our special reopening calendar of events!
